"BACK IN THE SADDLE".....8-2-2008

After weeks of watching from the pits & sitting in the stands as spectators,we finally got the Camaro back at the track on August 2nd.We were so excited to get back where we feel most comfortable.I have to admit,I was a little worried that Tony would have a hard time concentrating....but by 1st round,he had made it perfectly clear that he was in the zone...And the Camaro seemed to have her own statement to make.
To start the night off,Tony won Dial 4 Dollars(for the first time)...he dialed a 5.78 and ran on with a ZERO,earning the bye in 1st round. We went to the semi-finals in Super Pro...but Wesley Fowler was a little quicker on the tree. Tony also qualified for the Quick class (my personal favorite class).As we were sitting in the staging lanes for 1st round of quick,I glanced around and noticed it was the Camaro vs. the 7 quickest dragsters.....Apparently,that had no affect on Tony because he ended up the winner in that class....So at the end of the night,Tony had earned 3 Win stickers.It was definately a good night to get "back in the saddle"....
